Nearly all fine restaurants in Taiwan employ hostesses to greet the customers. Although nearly all are Taiwanese, on occasion one might find a foreigner, particulary if the establishment caters to foreign customers. I wouldn't say there is a specific foreign nationality that is favored, unless you want to count the Mainlander Chinese who have fled China to work over here in this country. If you are referring to the "other type" of hostess girl, you are not likely to find any who would be interested in providing services to you, regardless of their nationality, unless you already have connections with the HeiDao here. Perhaps you are a criminal, or someone who engages in criminal activities. Yes? Maybe you should think about finding a wife someday, instead of wasting your time spreading unbelievable CCP propaganda. What d'ya say?

The number is most likely to be unknown. Foreign hostess girls working in Taiwan are likely to be mainland Chinese, where they skills in working in KTV and massage services have given them a lifelong taste for this kind of job. These places cater to hundreds of mainland Chinese business flock to these bars to escape from their ugly fat wife and/or kids enables them to earn more than on the mainland.

Little One. She was a Mainlander and really stinky.

When Taiwanese wives neglect their husbands, then its time to visit a KTV or massage parlor. Foreign hostess girls are very popular with bored Taiwanese men. Girls from Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines serve drinks and happy endings in Taiwan. Girls from South America and Europe round out the multicultural festivities. Not surprisingly, overweight women from America cannot find employment as hostesses. Hostess Twinkies taste great (see weblink). http://www.hostesscakes.com/twinkies.asp

will my Chinese cell phone work in Taiwan and Hong Kong?
Hello, I'm overseas and I only have a Chinese cell phone with service from China International. While I was in China I got the service to make international calls, but I don't know if that means if I'm in Taiwan or Hong Kong if I can still use my cell phone?

You need to check the GSM frequency band - that's what determines if you can use it in another country. Taiwan and HK uses 900/1800 and other 3G ones. It should work.

Which business visa are you talking about? I can think of at least two that are "business" visas. One is like a one-year tourist visa. You can go to Korea to "conduct business" (like negotiations, or work paid outside Korea) but not be paid within Korea. You can get one of these if you have a sponsoring organization, like a major company, that is outside of Korea. You would not be allowed to be a caretaker in Korea. You're not allowed to work on the local economy on this type of business visa. Many people break the law and do it anyway, but it's technically illegal and you could be fined and deported. Another "business" visa is the Treaty Investor D-8 visa. If you want to set up a full-scale caretaking business in Korea, you can do it with a D-8. The requirements for the D-8 (minimum): - 50,000,000 won invested in Korea - Proof that you can hire at least two regular employees who are Korean, full-time Neither visa will allow you to go to Korea and be self-employed as a caretaker on your own, at least not legally.
