Re entry to Taiwan under alien residence card( ARC)?
Hi, I am working in Taiwan. Me and my wife both have the alien residence card(ARC) with multiple entry. Two months back she went to home country (India) and now she is coming back to Taiwan. What are the documents she need if any or just passport and ARC is what she need and of course air ticket :)

When we first started going to Taiwan, I was amused by the fact that my ARC (green card) was actually green. On the older-style cards, you used to have to get a "Re-entry Permit to the Republic of China" in your passport. The new style ARC cards include a re-entry permit. Your wife will only need her passport and her ARC to get into the country.

what kind of cool souvenirs can u get in taiwan
what kind of cool souvenirs can u get in taiwan?
my dad is going to taiwan on sunday for work for a week. what kind of souvenirs do people generally bring back from taiwan? if it helps at all, i LOVE hello kitty and Sanrio, do they have a lot of that there? thx:)

There is probably hello kitty there but not a lot. theres more hello kitty in japan.

they do have a lot of hello kitty but hello kitty is from japan taiwan makes many things but they are famous for their snacks

I would say Taiwan has lots of great snacks, especially famous for their "tai yang ping" or in English Sun Biscuit. It's a little sweet, not too sure whether you would like it. And of course, there is another snack called "tie ji dan" which is some type of egg.

You can get a lot of Hello Kitty stuff for sure... BUT the coolest thing you can get are the t-shirts. They have hilarious t-shirt with bad English on them. Chinglish if you must (I mean no harm, lived in Taiwan and I love it!). I have a pic of one that says "I <3 Naked".

Your may consider Chinese Knots, Chinese Opera masks, Chinese Paper Cuts, Chinese Clligraphy & etc... Google them for more info.

Aboriginal arts and crafts make interesting souvenirs. Very decorative, and representative of the earliest culture in Taiwan.

Can US bought iphone work with other country's carriers?
Iphone 3g or 3gs. Can it work with other carriers in Taiwan?

Only if it's unlocked. You should know that the current iPhone firmware does not allow for unlocking, so you might be out of luck.
