Nearly all fine restaurants in Taiwan employ hostesses to greet the customers. Although nearly all are Taiwanese, on occasion one might find a foreigner, particulary if the establishment caters to foreign customers. I wouldn't say there is a specific foreign nationality that is favored, unless you want to count the Mainlander Chinese who have fled China to work over here in this country. If you are referring to the "other type" of hostess girl, you are not likely to find any who would be interested in providing services to you, regardless of their nationality, unless you already have connections with the HeiDao here. Perhaps you are a criminal, or someone who engages in criminal activities. Yes? Maybe you should think about finding a wife someday, instead of wasting your time spreading unbelievable CCP propaganda. What d'ya say?

The number is most likely to be unknown. Foreign hostess girls working in Taiwan are likely to be mainland Chinese, where they skills in working in KTV and massage services have given them a lifelong taste for this kind of job. These places cater to hundreds of mainland Chinese business flock to these bars to escape from their ugly fat wife and/or kids enables them to earn more than on the mainland.
