Better check before you get too excited. Hepatits B will show up on your immigration medical (they even check for leprosy!). Your work permit will be denied and you may even be deported. This is despite the fact that chronic hepatitis B is fairly common in Asian people.

I checked the Internet, Do you Have Linux or Win Xp as your O/S ? You did not say. If it is WIN XP, Have you tried this: from 'Start Button' Go to 'Settings ' and 'Open Control Panel', Now " Regions and Language Options ". Make your changes (as needed), You may have to have your O/S Disk, if it asks for it. The other way to 'Change to English' is to Reinstall your O/S Ding Ho. daveo5624.

Taiwan working visa question

Taiwan working visa question?
To obtain and maintain a working visa in Taiwan, do you have to have a full time steady job, or can you just work part time somewhere? My uncle has a pizza restaurant in Gaoxiong, and is married to a native. If he were to open another location (he is planning on it) and hires me, would that be acceptable? Could I maintain my visa?

You have to have a full time job in order to apply for a visa in Taiwan for work. Tell your uncle to apply for u and u submit the details to him. The Taiwan Embassy may call for u and u present urself to them with more details thats all.

I need a resident/work permit visa for Taiwan. I am a Indian Passport Holder. What all do I need?
I have a job offer from a renowned Taiwanese organization. But they do not have any offices in India. So I need some agent who can file for the visa. So I am on the lookout for an agent who can help me out.
