depend on what type of work you getting.

From the little I know, Taiwan is a good place to work but it depends on the type of work you want to do. Since you're Singaporean the differences are not much. Singapore is nice place too. But pray to meet the right people during your first month. Good luck!

There is a minimum wage which must be paid to foreign workers who are here on a work visa. It's about US$1000 per month. If your skills can earn you the ability to secure a position here, then you will probably like the environment. It mostly depends on what you want to do, how good you are at it, and who your boss is (much like anywhere else in the modernized world).

Singapore pays better. But if you are bilingual in Chinese (read & write) and English then you can get a proper job at bigger corporates both locally or foreign own which will get you better pay. High paid jobs are normally to do with hi-tech/software industries so you might look into that before you come. Banking/Finance is another option that you can considered as well... Good luck :)

if ur IT or engineering like a lotta people, u wont get really high pay. wages in taiwan are low compared to korea, japan, n singapore. very low compared to US wages.

Taiwan paid less than singaporean about half less, so make sure is okay with you, but cost of living in lower, and is pretty heavy japanese influence culture.
